Ampeleia Unlitro Toscana Rosso 2020 (1L)
Azienda Ampeleia is a domaine on the Costa Toscana founded in 2002, and is the result of a fortuitous encounter between Elisabetta Foradori (one of the greatest Italian winegrowers), Thomas Widmann, and Giovanni Podini, who found a perfect place to express their vision in Ampeleia. In 2009, the domaine began to make the transition to biodynamic management and now produces wines which perfectly reflect their very complex and diverse terroirs. This wine is a blend of varieties originating from the Mediterranean Basin— 40% Alicante Nero (aka Grenache), 25% Mourvedre, 15% Carignano, 15% Sangiovese, 5% Alicante Bouschet—sourced from vineyards at 180-250 meters above sea level. In accordance with its principles of respect for the land, the vineyard is biodynamically certified and the wine is fermented using native yeasts. This wine for keeping is lively, fresh and juicy on the palate, dominated by red and black berries and enhanced by a few spicy notes.

Bedin IL Lieve Prosecco Col Fondo
Funky Prosecco Col Fondo aka Pet Nat! Very cloudy straw in color, due to the yeast deposit on the bottom of the bottle, with delicate bubbles. The process of lees ageing adds notes of baked bread that blend with fruity scents in a very elegant, complex bouquet. In the mouth it is full-flavoured and bone-dry, very refreshing and cleansing.

Bianco di Ampeleia 2019
“For the Bianco di Ampeleia, we have recovered an old vineyard near the winery and grafted it with indigenous varieties of the Mediterranean Basin. A field-blend, as according to tradition, mostly of Trebbiano grapes together with some Ansonica and Malvasia. On average the wine spends 7 days fermenting on skins, adding complexity and texture Shining lemony rose gold in colour, notes of apple and Bartlett pear, nutty quality on the finish, alongside pure – fresh acidity.” Producer Notes

Casa Coste Piane Valdobbiadene Prosecco NV
The Prosecco “Frizzante Naturalmente” of Casa Coste Piane thrills with production following the dictates of the ancestral method, according to a rural method, according to an ancient method, according to a philosophy that created it not to conform to trends, but to bring to the glass a personality and a truly unique character of its kind. A refermentation not in autoclave, but in the bottle on the “sur lie” yeasts, generates small but still lively and vibrant bubbles. The wine is rustic, has a beautiful freshness and great minerality.

Dario Princic Bianco NV
The “Bianco” by Dario Princic is the result of the skillful union of chardonnay, sauvignon and pinot grigio. The grapes undergo a few days of maceration and fermentation in open vats. Subsequently, each variety is left to mature in wooden containers of various sizes and then assembled to achieve ideal harmony. In the Collio district, there is this very ancient soil called Ponka a Calcareous, marl infiltrate with clay very porous, so the roots can seek lots of nutrients in the below substrate. Thus the minerality is dusty, stony and gives sapidity to the wine.

Fatalone Primitivo Teres 2019
Not your typical Primitivo in any way and for us, in a special way. A pale ruby rosé color and unoaked in the cellar so this Italian wine drinks with ease – especially with a slight chill. Teres displays pretty red raspberries and almond aromas which carry through to the palate. Youthful, with balanced acidity and notes of warm southern spices.

Frank Cornelissen Munjebel Rosso 2019
“A rich and fragrant wine of pure Nerello Mascalese from different vineyards, partly from our best parcels where we produce our crus (Zottorinoto-Chiusa Spagnolo, Feudo di Mezzo-Porcaria, Pontale Palino) as well as designated vineyards for this specific wine (Rampante, Piano Daini and Crasà). A classic, traditional Nerello Mascalese with tannins and sweetness of ripe fruit. My vision of a traditional, balanced and rich Northern Valley Etna wine.”
