Badiola Tempranillo de Laderas Rioja 2018
Badiola is a winery based in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. Badiola offers a new perspective on Rioja wines. The vineyards are located on the slopes of the Sierra Cantabria, mainly surrounding the villages of Villabuena, Leza, Samaniego, Laguardia, Navaridas and Baños del Ebro, each terroir producing wines with distinctive character. The vines are extremely old; many were planted in the 1920s. 1930s and 1940s and they deliver concentrated juices with a clear identity. The philosophy of winemaking is to obtain very pure, fresh and well-textured wines that reflect their origin.

Perfect expression of Mencía from Bierzo. This vintage is characterised by a great fruit concentration. We can find a lot of nuances, red fruit, violets and mineral notes, which are assembled with the nuances provided by the oak ageing. The palate is fresh, meaty and elegant with a great finish.

Els Vinyerons Pregadeu Cava 2018
Pregadéu (‘Praying mantis’ in Catalan, the cuvées are named after the insects found in the vineyards). Mètode ancestral sparkling made from 100% Xarel-lo. This wine undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle using the original but unfermented grape juice. Disgorged too so the wine is crystal clean and clear. No added sulphites and with no signs of oxidation (so stable and good for glass pour). Dry and fresh yet fruitful and with good acidity too.

Jose Pariente Verdejo 2018
Lemony-yellow bright, with reflections green. intensely fruity aroma, with aromas of fennel, floral, scrubland and aniseed background, some tropical fruit notes. Elegant, fresh and persistent. In the mouth it is equally fruity and fresh. Unctuous, sweet and a touch of bitter finish, which gives the elegance characteristic of the Verdejo.

Mas Candí Baudili 2019
Bottled unsulphured, and very unfined / unfiltered. Layers of lively fruit with citrus, florals, chalk and white grapefruit. Cadences of salinity and minerality lead into a long day-dreamy finish.

Mas Candi Cabories 2020
Cabories is a wine made from a blend of two Catalan red varieties (Mando & Sumol) blended with a white variety (Xarel-lo). Light aromas of red berries and plum and a fresh and invigorating palate. Excellent red natural wine that can be served slightly chilled. It is fresh, dry-cherry-fruity and light. A touch of liquorice cuts through the plum and red berries and makes it a unique and very interesting wine.

Mas Candi Corpinnat Cava 2017
A blend of Macabeu, Parellada and Xarel·lo grapes sorted from old grapevines, this Cava from Penedès was traditionally vinified. After the completion of both fermentations, it was aged for 24 months in the bottle. Crisp and very pleasant, this sparkling wine of Celler Mas Candí is dry, fruit-driven and fresh. Bubbles are nicely integrated, and the acidity is excellent. This Penedès Brut Nature cava has a long finish with remembrances of dry fruit and spices.

A slightly off dry sparkling rose with super fluffy little bubbles that carry beautiful notes of lavender, watermelon and cola cubes. About as natural as they come and one of those sparkling wines that sip tooooo easy!

Ramon Jane Ovella Negra 2019
From biodynamic estate vineyards of calcareous clay soils. Hand-harvested in small lug bins, sorting in the vineyard, grapes are chilled and pressed. Single fermentation in the bottle with indigenous yeasts and no additions. No SO2 added.
Garnacha Blanca and Malvasia de Sitges. An unusual blend makes this wine stand out, there’s very little of either grape in Penedès. Two weeks of skin contact maceration give an orange appearance, lots of fruit and texture.

“80% whole cluster fermentation in large oak vats. Macerations of between two and five months. Aging in various vessels: 225L, 500L, foudre and cement. Bottled without fining or filtration. Mostly Mencía with Bastardo (Trousseau), Garnacha Tintorera (Alicante Bouschet). The wine is clean, precise and fresh, and the oak is oh so subtle, practically unnoticeable. Floral, spicy aromas with hints of underbrush. Juicy, well-structured red fruit with great vibrancy and length on the palate. A long finish is marked by hints of herbs, coffee bean and tomato leaf”
