Lo-Fi Santa Barbara County Chardonnay 2018
Hand harvested and sustainably grown; Whole cluster pressed to tank. Settled 48 hours prior to racking to barrel and concrete amphora. Fermented on the native yeasts, followed by partial malolactic by naturally occurring bacteria. No sulfur used at pressing. Quite an elegant delicately buttery style of Chardonnay. Not about oak, just nice mouth filling texture with a good line of citrus keeping the wine lifted.

Lo-Fi Santa Barbara County Malbec 2018
The 2018 Santa Barbara County Malbec is hand-harvested, foot-crushed, whole-cluster fruit vinified in neutral barrels with native yeasts, almost no sulfur, and no additives. Aging is done for 8 months in 100% French oak barrels (4 years old). Fuller medium-bodied, dry. Purple in the glass with a nose of kirsch, flowers, and black olive. The full yet structured palate shows brambleberry and plums. Finishes with notes of oak and mint over balanced acids & tannins.
