Chateau Marsyas B-Qa 2017
Ripe red and black cherries with peppery spice pair perfectly with beef shish, charred spring onion, tomatoes and sumac – the fruit-forward elements of the wine balancing the charcoal from the beef. So satisfying to drink, it also tastes delicious with dark chocolate.

Colossal Reserva 2016
Made from a blend of Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Tinta Roria and Alicant Bouschet, this is vivid purple black in the glass with vibrant magenta edges. The bouquet is awash with dark plums, prunes, tar and polished oak and it is immediately seamless in the spicy, savoury, oaky, medium to full-bodied palate filled with succulent dark berry fruit and accents of baking spices and pepper. Terrifically tasty with lovely balance of fruit and savouriness and tannins more noticeable on the long dry finish.

French Beaches Juicy Red 2019
“Mediterranean climate. Vineyards located in Languedoc-Roussillon. Clay-limestone and clay-silty soils. Striking in colour, the bouquet conjures an orchard of ripe fruit. The first sip reveals an opulent palate of cocoa dusted espresso and dark cherry with vibrant fleshiness. Living up to its name, this has beautiful, juicy raspberry and cherry notes and oh-so-silky tannins. Ageing on fine lees, in stainless steel tank, during a maximum of three months. The addition of sulfites is limited.” Producer Notes

Johannes Zillinger Revolution Pink Solera NV
The Revolution Pink Solera from Johannes Zillinger is a mix of 3 grape varieties: Rösler (50%), Syrah (40%) and St. Laurent (10%). The Rösler was fermented in stainless steel tanks and matured in barrels, the Syrah spent time in barrels and the St. Laurent was made with a unique solera system (different vintages put together year after year). The result is a fresh and minerality driven rosé, aromas of sour cherries, pomegranate and sage. Can we treated as a chilled red as well. Very structural wine.

Jumping Juice Sunset 2020
The mesmerizing colour of a warm long sunset of the WA ocean, this Jumpin Juice is fun times juice.
It’s not quite an orange wine and not quite a rose but it sits somewhere in that range.
The Sauvginon Blanc and the Gewurztraminer both are fermented on skins, so is the Shiraz but only for a short time.
The whole lot is then combined together in a brew of tropical fruit punch, stalks and spice. Its a cosmic, crazy wine that you will be knock back on the beach all summer long.

L’Indigène Mas des Agrunelles 2019
L’Indigene is a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan. On the nose it is fleshy with notes of ripe dark berries and briar patch. Fruit notes of blackberry, raspberry and black cherry are concentrated and juicy without being over-ripe. The earthy notes from the nose continue and blend with the savoury notes of lavender, rosemary and white pepper.

Vandal Gonzo Militia Blend 2021
Vandal Wines was set up by three unnamed, masked Marlborough winemakers as an escape from the restrictions of their day jobs. The Gonzo Militia is a field blend, picked together on the same day and vinified together. The blend is unusual to say the least 20% Viognier, 20% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Gris, 15% Riesling, 15% Syrah, 5% Chardonnay, 2.5% Tempranillo and 2.5% Muscat, sourced from a single site in Marlborough’s Southern Valleys region. After pressing 50% is macerated on its skins for 24 hours, the whole is fermented in neutral French oak barrels using the natural yeasts and undergoes malolactic fermentation. The wine then spends 6 months on its lees with battonage, lees stirring, before bottling un-fined and un-filtered. The wine has delicate pink hue to its golden colour with a slight haze due to the lack of fining and filtration. The flavour is wild with a creamy mouth full of peach, plums with lemony, green apple acidity and nutty notes from the casks. A complex and fascinating break from the norm.

Yann Chave Hermitage 2020
‘Located on the land of Beaume and Péléat, my Hermitage vines, dutifully and lovingly tended, are over 40 years old and are rooted in a soil of loess. South-West facing, the plots enjoy abundant sunshine throughout the vegetative cycle, thus providing grapes with the raw material I require to bottle the much sought-after DNA of this mythical Hermitage hillside’ -Yann Chave.
Full and generous on the palate. Mid-palate reveals rich aromas of ripe fruit and a hint of smokiness. Tannins are dense and intense, but with great finesse, giving the wine imposing structure and a long finish. A truly superb wine.
