BK Wines Pet Nat Chardonnay 2021
Pet Nat – or rustic, farmhouse sparkling wine created by producing a fermentation in the bottle – is to sunshine as gumboots are to muddy puddles… you don’t have to have either of them to enjoy the other but you’re a whole lot happier if you do. 100% Basket Range Chardonnay. Whole-bunch pressed to concrete ‘egg’ fermenter. Fermented until nearly dry. Light, white pear flavours and enticing frizz. You’ll find yourself praying for summer sunshine or just sitting under a warm, bright light with your glass and pretending it’s here.

BK Wines Pet Nat Pinot Noir 2021
This season’s Pét Nat Pinot Noir, in addition to all the joy it brings to drink, can be almost as pleasurable just to open up and sit and watch… a veritable lava lamp of lees. Unmistakably and purely Pinot Noir on the nose, just-ripe raspberries on the palate. So many processes of control go into making a Champagne, while Pét Nat is permitted to largely create itself. Where last vintage resulted in a sort of wild, messy, walk-of-shame debauchery, this vintage is tidy and compartmentalised, with a glittery bead and velveteen mousse. Good, clean, bubbly fun. 100% Lenswood Pinot Noir. Whole-bunch pressed to concrete ‘egg’ fermenter. Fermented until nearly dry.

Commune of Buttons Basket Town 2020
“We picked three parcels that are a mix of Dijon clones including the rare chardonnay Muscat (about 10% of the final wine); an ancient ancestor of the modern chardonnay grapes of today. 1 tone of fruit was picked in the third week of March and crushed underfoot. The juice was fermented in a single 600L demi-muid and aged on full lees for 11 months and stirred for lees integration once a week for about a month. Basket Town white is a spicy saline chardonnay with white flesh peaches and nectarine. The Muscat character lifts the aromatics and makes the wine incredibly accessible.” Producer Notes

Commune of Buttons Estate Chardonnay 2020
“Fermentation took place in 600L barrels and the wine remained on full lees for a year with some lees stirring over winter (roughly once a week for 2 months). Commune White is a bright, well-rounded wine with pear, lime and peach fruits. There is a delicate savoury brioche thread that lingers into the well-known saline minerality and natural acidity of the clay sandstone soils of the vineyards.” Producer Notes

Commune of the Buttons Nebbiolo Rosé 2020
Has a vibrant, tangy nose full of strawberry and cherry notes, with a brisk palate that is both subtle and juicy.
Two-days on skins, and fermentation in old oak puncheons, give the wine gravitas and length. Less of a park wine, more of an Italian picnic-wine centred around wild-boar sausage sandwiches. Tastes more like chilled red rather than typical Rosé.

Golden Child Lazy Sunday 2019
The Lazy Sunday is an easy drinking 50/50 red blend of Pinot Noir and Shiraz (both 100% whole bunch). The nose is pretty and inviting, with lifted red fruits and exotic spice. The palate is light-medium bodied, with masses of red cherry and strawberry flavours. Tannin is moderate, but there’s some zippy, spicy acidity to help conclude the wine. This light style red can be chilled on warmer days.

Somos Blanquito 2019
An intriguing blend of arneis, cortese, garganega and verdehlo. From vineyards across the Adelaide Hills including Basket Range and Piccadilly. Fresh, textural, green apples and minerality.

Yetti and the kOkOnut – Project Wine 2020
Project wine is a one off realise from Yetti and the Coconut every year is different depending on what’s available at the stage. Whole bunch Riesling was fermented for 3 weeks on skins and was blended with Red Sémillon just before the bottling. The wine is super fresh and racy for amber wine! It’s packed with flavours which just keep going on your palate. It has slightly bitter citrus finish, which makes you to go for another sip.

Yetti and the kOkOnut Metro Savagnin 2020
2.5 weeks 100% whole bunch, carbonic. Pressed to Austrian puncheon and aged for about 6 months.
Mr reserved here, the nose is like your first date with your partner/wife/husband. Sparks everywhere and you know that you’re in for a good ride. Palette is all about weight without overdoing it. So much complexity, like sitting in a 1976 GT500 Shelby mustang for the first time… ready for the ride
