Decibel Giunta Malbec Nouveau 2021
For this lighter style, the Malbec color is quite a dark purple. The nose is grainy, brambly with hints of violets and tamarillo growing into notes of blackberry and blueberry pie. Some hints of all spice and confection notes also persist. The palate has a lightly spicy attack with a juicy, supple acidity that drives the mid-palate. Frank Cornelissen is the godfather of the natural wine movement and Susacaru Etna Rosso is without a doubt some of his finest work. Earthy with a fruit-forward approach consisting of cranberry, red plum and fresh pomegranate. A field-blend of mostly Nerello Mascalese (85%) with other local varietals from our old vine vineyards: Nerello Capuccio, Allicante Boushet, Minella Nera and Minella Bianco. A wine with “high drinkability” combining body and character of Etna: elegance, structure, fragrance and personality.

Golden Child Lazy Sunday 2019
The Lazy Sunday is an easy drinking 50/50 red blend of Pinot Noir and Shiraz (both 100% whole bunch). The nose is pretty and inviting, with lifted red fruits and exotic spice. The palate is light-medium bodied, with masses of red cherry and strawberry flavours. Tannin is moderate, but there’s some zippy, spicy acidity to help conclude the wine. This light style red can be chilled on warmer days.

Johannes Zillinger Revolution Pink Solera NV
The Revolution Pink Solera from Johannes Zillinger is a mix of 3 grape varieties: Rösler (50%), Syrah (40%) and St. Laurent (10%). The Rösler was fermented in stainless steel tanks and matured in barrels, the Syrah spent time in barrels and the St. Laurent was made with a unique solera system (different vintages put together year after year). The result is a fresh and minerality driven rosé, aromas of sour cherries, pomegranate and sage. Can we treated as a chilled red as well. Very structural wine.

Lezèr Foradori 2020
100% Teroldego spontaneously fermented in cement tanks, unfined, unfiltered with low sulfites. If you are unfamiliar with this grape, it is related to Syrah and has a similar dark inky colour, a peppery taste and firm, but not astringent tannins. This particular wine is made with less skin contact, hence the lighter colour of the wine. Crunchy, high acid and rich in red berry notes with just a touch of black fruit and pepper. The wine’s freshness, bright acidity and subtle pleasantly bitter quality makes it a wonderful food partner.

Cabories is a wine made from a blend of two Catalan red varieties (Mando & Sumol) blended with a white variety (Xarel-lo). Light aromas of red berries and plum and a fresh and invigorating palate. Excellent red natural wine that can be served slightly chilled. It is fresh, dry-cherry-fruity and light. A touch of liquorice cuts through the plum and red berries and makes it a unique and very interesting wine.

The 2018 Forks and Knives Red is a blend of Pinot Noir + some Blaufrankisch, Cab Sauv & Cab Franc. Its a wine that falls under ‘Essential Nutrition’ according to Milan. Quite carbonic, immensely drinkable. Low viscosity, absent minerality, zero bullshit. Organically farmed grapes, indigenous yeasts fermentation, no filtering and no sulfites added. Medium-bodied, herbal and stemmy this is a complex red with a bit of the natty funk.

Testalonga Baby Bandito Follow Your Dreams wine is a hugely aromatic and medium-bodied skin contact Carignan with aromas of crushed berries and flowers. Vandal Wines was set up by three unnamed, masked Marlborough winemakers as an escape from the restrictions of their day jobs. Field blend from a single vineyard in the Southern Valleys of Marlborough. 50% whole cluster fermentation Only hand plunged once during fermentation. Small batch pressed. 6 months aging on full yeast lees. Natural (wild) fermentations (Alcohol and 100% malo lactic fermentation). Unfined and unfiltered. Supple and cloudy with nice sweet, alluring, spicy raspberry and cherry fruit. No sulphites until bottling. There’s a juicy, grippy edge to the fruit with some nice spicy hints.
