
Ampeleia Unlitro Toscana Rosso 2020 (1L)
Azienda Ampeleia is a domaine on the Costa Toscana founded in 2002, and is the result of a fortuitous encounter between Elisabetta Foradori (one of the greatest Italian winegrowers), Thomas Widmann, and Giovanni Podini, who found a perfect place to express their vision in Ampeleia. In 2009, the domaine began to make the transition to biodynamic management and now produces wines which perfectly reflect their very complex and diverse terroirs. This wine is a blend of varieties originating from the Mediterranean Basin— 40% Alicante Nero (aka Grenache), 25% Mourvedre, 15% Carignano, 15% Sangiovese, 5% Alicante Bouschet—sourced from vineyards at 180-250 meters above sea level. In accordance with its principles of respect for the land, the vineyard is biodynamically certified and the wine is fermented using native yeasts. This wine for keeping is lively, fresh and juicy on the palate, dominated by red and black berries and enhanced by a few spicy notes.

Full of wild cherries, plum and mulberry with just a touch of raspberry lift. There are hints of flowers, leather, smoke, spice and herbs with wafts of liquorice, quite a lot you can pick out of this wine.

Bogle Old Vine Zinfandel 2018
A beautiful, deep ruby in the glass with purple hues. This Zinfandel is saturated with flavours of red berries and cranberries on both the nose and the palate. Laced with a hint of savoury herb in the background, the traditional tones of juniper lead to a full and ripe finish, while 12 months of ageing in two year old barrels wraps the wine in spicy oak and a touch of vanilla wafer.

Burn Cottage Moonlight Race Pinot Noir 2020
Bright florals, red cherry and plum tones are followed with savoury black tea, spice and earth notes. There is a lovely vibrant core to this wine, completed by silky texture and elegant structure persisting in the palate. Cellaring potential to 7 years.

Casa Santos Lima Passion 2018
This is a wine very rich in red fruit aromas, with some tobacco and vanilla. It is smooth and has a good body with notes of fruit, raspberry and strawberry. Balanced acidity and soft tannins. Ensures a very long and pleasant aftertaste.

Charly Thèvenet Régnié Grain & Granit 2019
Fragrant scents of rose petals, red plum and sour cherries mix with hints of clove, earth and fresh herbs. Light, supple and bright, the savoury palate has an elegant profile of sour cherry fruits, subtle clove, earth and spicy dried herb elements. Finishes dry with slightly tart acidity, fine boned tannins and a fresh faced medium to long aftertaste.

Chateau de Roquefort Gueule de Loup 2019
The cellars at Château de Roquefort were built in 1734. Until 1995, the estate only produced wine to be sold in bulk. Raimond de Villeneuve took over in 1995, modernized the winery, and began producing biodynamic wines under the Château’s name.
The Gueule de Loup is a blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Cinsault, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 80% cement and 20% wood. It is pure, fresh, and full with red fruits and sublte black fruit with just a touch of earth and grilled meat. A pleasant liveliness in the mouth, no need to be thirsty to drink!

This Pinot Noir it’s simply delicious, with well-rounded tannins. Initially there is a juicy, plush elegance, with the tannins claiming a more authoritative and luxurious presence, showing off its class and flamboyance. The complexity of this vintage will bloom after five to eight years of age. Please note this wine has been un-fined and unfiltered in order to safeguard aromatics and structure.

Etnella Petrosa Etna Rosso 2017
Petrosa is an Etna Rosso (still red wine) made from 85% Nerello Mascalese and 15% Nerello Cappuccio. From contrada (plot) Santo Spirito, where the vines are mostly 70 years old at an elevation of 780m. Fermented in wooden vats and matured in aged French oak barriques. At nose scents of little red fruits, Mediterranean herbs, balsamic scents and sweater spicy. Taste is very fresh, mineral, integrated tannins and long persistence.

Rouge de Causse is Gimios’s flagship wine, a 16 varietal co-ferment from their oldest pre-phylloxera vineyard planted in 1860! The exact grape varieties are not known, but there is a clear Grenache and garrigue presence as found in the great wines from the South. Expect pure fruit expression, long, persistent tannins and plenty of structure.
