Millton Muskats At Dawn 2020
The wine has a soft, semi sweet, full and tingling flavour like fairy dust and white roses, on a moonlit evening. Intensely perfumed and quite exotic like blossoms in spring, this tantalizing wine delights the senses with vibrant tropical fruit leaving a tingle on the tongue and the sweetness of a teenage kiss. Advancing antiquity into the modern era… The most delicious summer wine just to drink and reflect, with friends.

Mont’Albano Pinot Grigio 20
This well-balanced wine from the Friuli region to the north of Venice has plenty of character, with a delicate rose petal aroma and a tinge of pears and apricots on the palate.

Mount Edward Gruner Veltliner 2016
This is an excellent example of cool-climate Grüner Veltliner. Grown organically on the Morrison vineyard planted by Duncan Forsyth in the late 1990s, this has great purity of fruit and shows the lovely texture and spice that this Austrian variety is known for. Crunchy, apple-y, littered with white pepper and all the things you want in a Grüner. It’s just a great thing to drink.

Mountford Estate Hommage A l’Alsace 2015
Rich with complex stonefruit, fruit salad, manuka honey and minerals that attack your senses upon first glace. Bringing together four noble varieties of Alsace; Gewürztraminer, Muscat, Pinot Gris and Riesling. This enriching medium bodied integration will both excite and invigorate with a beautiful balance of acidity and sweetness.

Norman Hardie Riesling 2016
Beautiful balance, but also a nice depth of flavour. There is a slight funkiness to the nose that is layered over apple and citrus. There is a slight sweetness on the mid palate but it is met with nicely balanced acidity.

Pask Chardonnay 2020
Vibrant, rich Chardonnay with intense citrus fruits and pure acidity. Rich and mouthfilling, generously textured.

Pegasus Bay Gewürztraminer 2019
Skin contact and fermenting with solids provide increased structure and a subtle hint of struck match, while the oak aging and lees contact adds mouth feel. On the palate it is rich and unctuous, with ripe phenolics and a lingering aftertaste of fresh ginger that complement the wine’s off-dry finish.

Petane Station Pinot Gris 2018
Selectively hand-picked, phenologically ripe berries are gently whole bunch pressed and, post ferment, the wine is left on its yeast lees for 8 months to evolve. A further four months of bottle maturation, prior to release, allows the wine to rest and achieve its full potential. The result is a Gris that’s deliciously rich and flavoursome with an off-dry finish. As Philip puts it, “This is a serious Pinot Gris that tips a hat toward Alsace with cellaring potential of 7+ years.”

Pluma Vinho Verde 2018
Perfect combination of the aromas of the four best-known varieties of the region. The result is a fresh wine, fruity and with a refreshing acidity.

Ponsot Rully en Bas de Vauvry Blanc 2020
Jean-Baptiste farms 8.5 hectares all located in the AOP Rully and sustainably farmed with organic practices: no insecticide, no weed-killer, no anti-rot and no chemicals at all. Jean-Baptiste doesn’t care to be certified but is as respectful of his land as many certified organic producers.
This wine was able to adopt its lieu-dit when fruit from a second plot was discarded and everything came from this excellent site that sits just below the 1er Crus. Aged in a both stainless steel and oak, though very little new, this is full of lively, floral fruit with some spice and good drive.

Quinta das Amoras Branco 2018
Portugal flies under the radar when it comes to dry white wines but this wine over delivers with its fresh succulent flavours and complex notes from the five different grape varieties used in the blend. These grapes are all indigenous to Portugal; Arinto, Fernao Pires, Vital, Rabo de Ovelha and Moscatel. Together, they provide fresh acidity with beautiful aromatic notes from the Moscatel. It’s a characterful white with freshness, a tangy finish and a medium body.

San Lorenzo Verdicchio Classico Di Gino 2018
Extraordinary depth and layers of exotic stone fruit, melon, citrus, ground nuts, spice with more-ish texture balanced by refreshing line of acidity. If you are knew to Verdicchio it reminds me of a fine Pinot Grigio meets a Chardonnay with an exotic twist.

Savage White Blend 2015
As the wine slowly opens it releases pretty aromas of lemon zest and white peach followed by dusty minerals, honeysuckle and white floral. On the palate this has a gorgeous texture which is beautifully balanced with remarkable focus. Overall, this is a gorgeous wine which should continue to evolve and gain complexities with just a bit of bottle age.

Seresin Sauvignon Blanc 2021
Blended from several parcels of Sauvignon Blanc from across our three different vineyard sites, as well as a small volume of Semillon, this is a true reflection of Seresin Estate in a bottle. Subtle on the nose with warm notes of ripe yellow stone-fruit, soft passion fruit and a chalky-mineral complexity. The palate is layered and finely-textured, with ripe gooseberry, tropical and citrus notes, framed by a mouth-watering acidity, which creates a persistent finish.

Te Mata Estate Cape Crest Sauvignon Blanc 2020
Aromas of yuzu, guava, kaffir lime and luscious white nectarine give way to palate of passionfruit, grapefruit, gooseberry, pear and crushed herbs, with just hint of sea-salt and smoke at the end of the long dry finish. Cape Crest ’19 is a blend of 86% Sauvignon Blanc, 8% Semillon and 6% Sauvignon Gris.

Testalonga Keep On Punching 2020
The Testalonga Keep On Punching is a pure wine, with a nice weight the wine has aromas of pear, apple and white peach plus potpourri and a touch of earthiness. On the palate, you’ll find a freshly opened box of Maldon sea salt, but it’s light and extremely flavourful and full of zipping and zing.

Teusner Empress Riesling 2021
This Riesling shows great fruit purity, and once your palate negotiates the initial pure citrus flavours, the wine glides across the mid-palate with an energetic gait showing hints of mineral ‘wet slate’, orange blossom, white flowers and talc.

Unison Reserve Maestro Chardonnay 2019
Pale Gold in colour. Lashing of baking spice, fresh ripe apricots, yellow flowers, toasted almonds and hints of fresh cream, give complexity and intensity to the aromatics. The palate is rich with a velvety texture and packed with stonefruit, toasted nuts and a citrus finish. Enjoy this chardonnay in its youth, or cellar carefully for enjoyment over the next 5 years.

Vandal Gonzo Militia Blend 2021
Vandal Wines was set up by three unnamed, masked Marlborough winemakers as an escape from the restrictions of their day jobs. The Gonzo Militia is a field blend, picked together on the same day and vinified together. The blend is unusual to say the least 20% Viognier, 20% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Gris, 15% Riesling, 15% Syrah, 5% Chardonnay, 2.5% Tempranillo and 2.5% Muscat, sourced from a single site in Marlborough’s Southern Valleys region. After pressing 50% is macerated on its skins for 24 hours, the whole is fermented in neutral French oak barrels using the natural yeasts and undergoes malolactic fermentation. The wine then spends 6 months on its lees with battonage, lees stirring, before bottling un-fined and un-filtered. The wine has delicate pink hue to its golden colour with a slight haze due to the lack of fining and filtration. The flavour is wild with a creamy mouth full of peach, plums with lemony, green apple acidity and nutty notes from the casks. A complex and fascinating break from the norm.

Yetti and the kOkOnut Metro Savagnin 2020

Mr reserved here, the nose is like your first date with your partner/wife/husband. Sparks everywhere and you know that you’re in for a good ride. Palette is all about weight without overdoing it. So much complexity, like sitting in a 1976 GT500 Shelby mustang for the first time… ready for the ride
