Black Estate French Farm Pinot Gris 2020
“Lovingly grown on a hillside vineyard in French Farm, overlooking Akaroa Harbour, Banks Peninsula. The vines here are grown on basalt soils formed from an extinct vocano. The fruit in this bottle has ample texture, vibrant acidity and balance. Whole bunch pressed and fermented in small stainless steel tanks and 500l barrels. Unfiltered and unfined.”

Black Estate Home Pinot Noir 2019
Fire brick hue. Compelling fresh and vibrant aromas of wild forest berry’s, wild rose petal, and humid earth. Dense mouth coating tannins that are tightly wound and gradually melt to reveal rich berry fruits, red current , and humus. The balance gives a clear impression of the highly mineralised sedimentary clay soils of the Home Vineyard. Drink now to 2028.

Greystone Organic Pétillant Naturel 2020
Attractive and flavoursome with a natural effervescence. The palate is fresh and the finish is long. Fresh, dry and with a persistent and fine mousse.
“Broad, textural sparkling wine that’s more vinous than fruity with ginger-like lees, apricot blossom and a suggestion of mineral character” – Bob Campbell MW ( writing about the 2019 Petillant Naturel )

Mountford Estate Hommage A l’Alsace 2015
Rich with complex stonefruit, fruit salad, manuka honey and minerals that attack your senses upon first glace. Bringing together four noble varieties of Alsace; Gewürztraminer, Muscat, Pinot Gris and Riesling. This enriching medium bodied integration will both excite and invigorate with a beautiful balance of acidity and sweetness.

Pegasus Bay Gewürztraminer 2019
Skin contact and fermenting with solids provide increased structure and a subtle hint of struck match, while the oak aging and lees contact adds mouth feel. On the palate it is rich and unctuous, with ripe phenolics and a lingering aftertaste of fresh ginger that complement the wine’s off-dry finish.
