Fatalone Primitivo Teres 2019
Not your typical Primitivo in any way and for us, in a special way. A pale ruby rosé color and unoaked in the cellar so this Italian wine drinks with ease – especially with a slight chill. Teres displays pretty red raspberries and almond aromas which carry through to the palate. Youthful, with balanced acidity and notes of warm southern spices.

Felton Road Bannockburn Chardonnay 2020
Delicate citrus flowers, jasmine followed by hints of peach. A substantial but taut palate, honeysuckle, creamy stone fruit and citrus, mouth-filling and generous, but always with nervous tension, then tightening to a stony and saline finish. A definitive (maybe “The” definitive) example of our Bannockburn Chardonnay. Detailed, precise, long and very satisfying.

The Soave “Castelcerino” is a light white wine, with a good freshness and savory aromas, vinified in steel tanks with short aging on the lees. Floral notes and aromas of almonds and fresh fruit stands out from a clear and slightly salty taste. Organic Wine, made with old style artisanal methods.

Bright citrus notes, white flower, nuances of dried apricot and hints of flint. Palate is energetic with acidity and tension balanced with flavors of orchard fruit and almond, finishing long and bright. 100% French Oak, 18% new, for 11 months. Aged for three months on lees in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling.

Frank Cornelissen is the godfather of the natural wine movement and Susacaru Etna Rosso is without a doubt some of his finest work. Earthy with a fruit-forward approach consisting of cranberry, red plum and fresh pomegranate. A field-blend of mostly Nerello Mascalese (85%) with other local varietals from our old vine vineyards: Nerello Capuccio, Allicante Boushet, Minella Nera and Minella Bianco. A wine with “high drinkability” combining body and character of Etna: elegance, structure, fragrance and personality.

Living up to its name, this has beautiful, juicy raspberry and cherry notes and oh-so-silky tannins. Ageing on fine lees, in stainless steel tank, during a maximum of three months. The light hay coloring is loaded with greenish reflections. The fragrance is soft and complex, especially inviting with aromas hinting broom, chamomile and fresh fruit. The flavor is pleasantly tangy, full and very persistent.
Golden Child Lazy Sunday 2019
The Lazy Sunday is an easy drinking 50/50 red blend of Pinot Noir and Shiraz (both 100% whole bunch). The nose is pretty and inviting, with lifted red fruits and exotic spice. The palate is light-medium bodied, with masses of red cherry and strawberry flavours. Tannin is moderate, but there’s some zippy, spicy acidity to help conclude the wine. This light style red can be chilled on warmer days.

Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo was established as a separate DOC from Montepulciano d’Abruzzo in 2010. The principal red grape variety is Montepulciano, made in the Rosato style. Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Cerasuolo is a fun, fresh, lighter tasting red that is best consumed chilled and young. Packed with red fruit aromas, bright acidity and long off dry finish.

From New Zealand’s oldest Fiano vines comes a stunning wine from one of Hawkes Bay’s top winemakers under her new eponymous wine brand. Johannes Zillinger Revolution Pink Solera NV
The Revolution Pink Solera from Johannes Zillinger is a mix of 3 grape varieties: Rösler (50%), Syrah (40%) and St. Laurent (10%). The Rösler was fermented in stainless steel tanks and matured in barrels, the Syrah spent time in barrels and the St. Laurent was made with a unique solera system (different vintages put together year after year). The result is a fresh and minerality driven rosé, aromas of sour cherries, pomegranate and sage. Can we treated as a chilled red as well. Very structural wine.
